Bristol's padel scene in context
Bristol's growth to 40+ courts and 6+ venues (rising further once S3 Padel Brabazon opens) makes it one of the Top 5 padel cities in the UK, comfortably ahead of many larger cities. The presence of LTA British Padel Tour events confirms the city's status as a legitimate padel destination rather than just a developing market. For the South West more broadly, Bristol is the natural hub — the nearest comparable scene to the north is Birmingham, with London to the east.
Court prices in Bristol range from £28–48/hour depending on venue and time. Off-peak daytime rates are typically 20–30% lower than peak evening slots.
Note on booking apps: Unlike most UK cities where Playtomic dominates, Bristol's largest venue (Rocket Padel) uses Padel Mates / MATCHi. You may need both apps to access the full range of Bristol courts.
